After 3 years by its release, I’ve finally played Skyrim. It wasn’t very exiting has I hoped, even with a good and deep game design and a decent plot, but sure you can’t deny its stunning visual approach. Often you would have more pleasure stopping by a peaceful view from a cliff on a river while the sun rises than fighting randomly around the vast region of Skyrim against nameless bandits and wolves or following the “take that thing to me” quests. Dungeons have great architecture, but puzzles are rarely interesting, nonetheless the amazing aesthetic makes the exploration very entertaining. And just after I’ve finished the main story, I’m back again on my wacom and start drawining some abstract landscapes, and quickly a mountain appeared, and I choose to dedicate a little environment to the snowy land of Skyrim.
